Clare Volunteers Teaching GAA In Uganda

A group of Clare GAA enthusiasts are currently volunteering at a hospice in Jinja, located about an hour and a half from Kampala, Uganda.

At a local special school, deaf children are being taught hurling, and a GAA club called Nile Ógs has been established.

To discuss this initiative further, Peter O’Connell spoke with Clare native John Conroy, who has been leading the project.
