There has been a 25% increase in the number of NCT’s failed dangerously in this county over the past twelve months.
The only NCT centre in Clare is located in Ennis, with new data revealing the next available date for a national car test in this county is now over three months away.
At present, Ennis has the tenth-highest dangerous fail rate of the 50 NCT centres in the country.
Overall, the current pass rate at the Ennis NCT Centre is just 46%.
