On Monday’s Morning Focus Alan Morrissey spoke to Kilkee Author Marc Ó Riain.
Marc is due to release his new collection of memoires ‘The Last Of The Light’, with much of the collection wrote through the lens of his late brother Emmet lost to suicide 10 years ago.
Emmet Ryan was a much-loved fisherman and storyteller who knew every inch of the peninsula. The Last Of The Light also contains beautiful passages written about Marc’s longing for the coast of west Clare, while he was working on building sites in London back in the 1980s.
The collection will be launched in Kilkee later this week
