Morning Focus: Live Broadcast From Ennistymon

Morning Focus was broadcasting live from the Digital Hub in Ennistymon.

Firstly, Alan Morrissey was joined by Cathal Crowe, Fianna Fáil TD from Meelick and Pat Breen, Former Fine Gael TD and Former Minister of State to discuss Joe Carey’s resignation as a public representative.

After that, Alan was joined by John Corry, Acting Senior Executive Officer, North Clare Local Electoral Area of West Clare MD to discuss Ennistymon, the West Clare Plan of Priority Strategic Projects 2019-2024 and the North Clare Integrated Transport & Traffic Plan

Next, Alan was joined by award-winning steel crafter, Sam Gleeson to chat about his work.

Alan was then joined by Councillor Shane Talty to discuss his priorities across the Municipal District.

We then had our weekly Garda Focus segment with Clare Crime Prevention Officer, Sgt. Catríona Holohan.

After that, Alan was joined by Sara Foust, the Owner of Foust Gallery, to tell us about “A Rare Music”, a ceramic art exhibition by artist and ecologist Tamaru Hunt-Joshi that the gallery will host.

Ennistymon’s local Historian, John Egan also joined the programme.

Later, Alan welcomed Carol Gleeson, the UNESCO Geopark Manager, to tell us about the Geopark.

Alan was then joined by Brendan Keane, treasurer of the Ennistymon Choral Society Committee, to chat about their upcoming production of Grease and for some live music!

We then had our Places and Tunes segment with Therese McInerney.

To close the show, we had our weekly Ask The Dog Warden segment with County Dog Warden, Frankie Coote.
