On Friday’s Morning Focus Pat Flynn was joined in studio by Brian McMahon, the current President of the Clare Association in Chicago, who is on a short trip home to the banner county.
Originally from Boloughera West Lissycasey, Brian left for America in the mid 1980’s and settled in Chicago where he still lives.
Brian discussed the strong Irish community spirit and love for GAA amongst the community that gave him a sense of home, his first memories of leaving the green fields of Clare many years ago and what plans lay ahead for the Clare Association in Chicago.
