At grass roots level, numbers are growing all the time and with a senior women’s league now in place, the popularity is on the rise.
UEFA accredited coach and Ennis native Irene Hehir joined Clare FM’s Derrick Lynch to chat about the health of women’s and girls’ soccer in the county along with her own journey in sport.
