Tributes are being paid following the passing of the former Fianna Fáil councillor PJ Kelly.

The Lissycasey native, who was Clare’s longest serving local representative, passed away on Saturday.

He served on Clare County Council over five decades, and only retired from his lengthy public service this summer.

PJ survived by his Wife Maura and Children Barry John, Aoife and Alma, Grandchildren, Wider family and large circle of friends.

On Monday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by Fianna Fáil TD, Cathal Crowe and Fianna Fáil Councillor and the Mayor of Clare, Alan O’Callaghan.
