To wrap up today’s Morning Focus, we were joined on the line by Former Clare Hurler, Tommy Guilfoyle to review what was a busy sporting week and an especially great weekend for Clare’s GAA teams.
As we mentioned earlier St Flannans College took their twenty-second Harty Cup title with a three-point win over CBC Cork. Meanwhile, the Senior Hurlers booked their first place in the National Hurling League semi-final since 2016 after a win over Dublin in Cusack Park yesterday. And the Clare Senior Footballers shocked Cavan to beat them at home and boost their chances of staying away from the Division 2 relegation battle.
