Clare’s clubs are gearing up for Clare Cup action this weekend.
In all there are 14 fixtures being held this weekend, five of which are in Division.
One of the most interesting ties will be a battle of the champions, as county champions Cratloe travel to East Clare to take on Whitegate, last year’s intermediate winners.

Meanwhile in another game this weekend, the county champions of 2007 and 2008 square off as Clonlara travel to take on Tulla.
Clonlara will be without the likes of Nicky O’Connell, Darach Honan and John Conlon through injury and county commitments, so Tulla are favoured by some to win this Saturday.
Their manager Jim McInerney says their focus is on the season ahead.
