The race for domestic hurling dominance gets underway this evening with first round games in both the TUS Clare senior and intermediate championships.
Two former Munster club winners meet when Sixmilebridge take on St Joseph’s Doora Barefield in Newmarket, while Clonlara hosts the meeting of East Clare rivals Broadford and O’Callaghan’s Mills.
Six more games in the senior championship are down for decision tomorrow, with double headers in Sixmilebridge and Cusack Park set to draw huge crowds.
There is also one game this evening in the TUS intermediate club hurling championship where Clarecastle being life in the second tier against Ruan in Clooney.
All tonights games are set for 7.30pm starts.
