Wayne Freeman’s side travelled to Clones where they beat their hosts Monaghan by 8 points

Fidelma Marrinan scored 4-1 as the banner ran out winners on a score of 6-6 to 1-13

The banner will now turn their attaention to the visit of Offaly to Cusack Park next weekend
