The meeting of the Waterford and Kilkenny hurlers is the standout tie in the latest All-Ireland qualifier draw.

The two sides will clash for the third year in a row, with the game likely to take place at Semple Stadium.

Elsewhere in the other Round 2 qualifier All-Ireland champions Tipperary have been handed a tie with Dublin.

The two winners will progress to the All-Ireland quarter-finals, where Wexford will be awaiting the winners.

That’s after they fell to a 9 point defeat to Galway in yesterday’s Leinster final.
