Busy Day Of Action In TUS Clare Club Hurling Championship

There are six games down for decision today in the opening round of the TUS Clare senior club hurling championship.

Sixmilebridge and Cusack Park host double headers, while Ruan and Clarecastle will also see championship action

O’Garney Park is hosting the first of today’s games as Feakle and Cratloe are underway at 1pm in the opening tie of a double header in Sixmilebridge.

The second game there comes at 3pm, where Scarriff and Inagh-Kilnamona go head to head.

It is a 2pm start as Corofin begin life at senior level by taking on Kilmaley in Clarecastle.

At the same time in Ruan, the Clare Cup champions Newmarket on Fergus meet last years beaten county finalists Crusheen.

Action this evening switches to Cusack Park, where a Group of Death double header takes place at the county grounds.

At 5pm, Eire Óg take on Clooney-Quin, while at 7pm, the two most recent holders of Canon Hamilton meet when champions Clonlara go up against Ballyea.
