Championship Draw Results for 20/10 campaign

Cratloe and Kilmurry- Ibrickane both face tough challenges if they are to defend their county titles in 2010.

They were among a number of interesting parings to emerge from the 2010 championship draws  in Senior hurling and football at Clareabbey last evening.

In football defending champions Kilmurry -Ibrickane were drawn with St Senan’s Kilkee, Miltown Malbay and Liscannor in Group 4

Group one consists of Lissycasey, Ennistymon Cratloe and St Joseph’s Doora-Barefield.

Group two fetaures Kilmihil, Eire Og, Shannon Gaels and Wolfe Tones while Group Three consists of Cooraclare, Kilrush, Doonbeg and O Currys.

In the Hurling Championship,  Group One sees  Kilmaley, Clooney -Quin, Clarecastle, Broadford and Scariff meet, while Group 2 consists of the defending champions Cratloe,Wolfe Tones, Sixmilebridge, Tubber and Inagh-Kilnamona.

Group 3 features Newmarket on Fergus, Smith O’Brien’s, O Callaghan’s Mills, Tulla and Whitegate.

Group 4 then features Clonalara, Corofin,  Ballyea, Crusheen and St Josephs.

The Senior Hurling Championship has been provisionaly fixed for the 8th of May while the Football Championship begins on the 12th of June.
