Changes Expected As Lohan Prepares To Name Team For Galway NHL Showdown

It is expected there will be changes to the Clare senior hurling team for Sunday’s National League showdown with Galway.

Brian Lohan’s side make the trip to Salthill for what is effectively a dead rubber in the closing round, with both sides out of contention for both semi finals spots and the relegation playoffs.

Injuries to Diarmuid Ryan and Aron Shanahger mean they are unlikely to feature having also missed out on the draw with Limerick last time out, but Peter Duggan is expected to be in contention for a first start of the season.

Management are due to name their team later, with the game set for a 1.45pm start in Pearse Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

There will be live commentary here on Clare FM in association with Matt Waters Clare Fruit & Veg Market, and Geraghty’s Spar and Off Licence, Turnpike Ennis
