Kilmaley boss Conor Clancy feels the club are in a strong position to build for the future after making the step back up to the senior ranks.

A 2-20 to 0-11 win over Tubber saw them claim the Clare Intermediate Hurling title and with it a spot in the top tier for 2018.

The goals came at the end of either half with Sean O’Loughlin finding the net just before half time while Alan Markham rounded off their scoring late on.

Former All Ireland winner Clancy says there’s plenty for the club to look forward to

Up next will be a Munster Club Quarter Final against the Limerick champions in two weels time, with Garryspillane and Murroe Boher contesting their final next weekend.
