The semi final places for this years Clare Champion cup were decided over the weekend with Sixmilebridge and Newmarket the sides to emerge from Division one while Broadford and Smith O’Briens take their places in the last four having topped Divisons "2A and B respectivly.
Elsewhere in football news and Shannon Gaels and Miltown St Josephs will contest this years Cusack cup final next weekend.
Shannon Gaels beat reigning county champions Kilmurray Ibrickane by 2-9 to 10 points while Miltown had a narrow win over Doonbeg ,the final score in Quilty 2-9 to 1-11.
Kilrush and St Joseph’s Doorabarefield will contest the Garry cup final after semi final wins on Saturday evening while O Curry’s and Kildysert will make up the division three final.
