The capacity of Clare GAA’s home ground of Cusack Park has been officially increased to almost 19,000.
Chairman of Clare GAA Joe Cooney confirmed the news at last nights County Board meeting, telling delegates that the executive had been informed just a few hours previously.

The maximum attendance for a game at the venue had stood at 14,500 but was boosted after remedial works were completed to allow for easier access and exiting of the ground.
The change will take effect immediately.
