Clare gear up for Waterford Challenge

 The countdown has begun for the Clare senior huling side ahead of their Munster semi final clash with Waterford next Monday.

The side has a number of injuries worries with Gerry Quinn struggling to recover from his hamstring injury while James Mc Inerney has been ruled out due to a stomach muscle complaint.

Ger O loughlin is likely  to feature a number of the younger players in the squad once more with Sean Collins in line to make his championship debut.

Elsewhere and with just two games to go in the Clare champion cup Sixmilebridge and Whitegate still lead the standing’s after the weekends action.

The defending  champions Cooraclare also lost to Liscannor with Miltown Malbay defeating Clondegad 10 poinst to 8.
