All-Ireland Premier Junior Camogie Semi-Final: Clare 0-22 – Armagh – 2-15

The Clare Junior Camogie team is Croke Park bound following victory by the minimum over Armagh in the All-Ireland Premier Junior Semi-Final this afternoon.

The contest was fiercely fought throughout in Ashbourne with Clare’s Sarah Loughnane firing over 0-07 in the first half alone, to cancel out Rachel Merry’s early goal for the Orchard County.

The Banner continued to battle intensely on the restart with Caoimhe Cahill splitting the posts almost immediately and despite the concession of a second green flag in the third quarter, late contributions from Grace Carmody and Loughnane ultimately ensured John Carmody’s charges would prevail.

As it finished on a full time score of Clare 0-22 to Armagh 2-15.

Clare will be hoping to claim their fifth Premier Junior title and first since 2008 when they face Tipperary in the decider at Croke Park on the 6th of August.
