Clare Left To Rue Missed Chances In Tyrone Loss

Clare boss Mark Fitzgerald admits his side paid the price for not capitalising on crucial scoring chances as they lost out to Tyrone in the All Ireland football series.

The Red Hand men ran out 3-15 to 0-10 winners at Healy Park in Omagh, with 1-9 of their tally coming in the closing quarter.

Clare trailed by just four points in the 55th minute, but a missed chance to cut that gap to proved costly with Tyone responding by rattling off the next four scores of the game to take control.
