The manager of the Clare senior footballers says his side have to move on quickly from their disappointing loss to Westmeath in the National League.

The Leinster side collected their second victory with a one point win, but the game was turned late on when what looked like a legitimate goal for Cormac Murray was incorrectly ruled out for a square ball infringement.

Up next for Clare is a trip to Tullamore to take on Offaly in two weeks time, with the Faithful County still searching for their first points of the campaign.

Clare boss Mark Fitzgerald says while the big decisions didn’t go their way, he’s proud of how his players battled right to the end.
