There will be Fitzgibbon Cup medals coming back to Clare this year.
UL and Mary Immaculate College will face off in this years decider having come through their last four ties.
Banner GAA’s Shane Meehan and Corofin’s Diarmuid Cahill scored the goals for Mary I as they beat SETU Waterford by 2-18 to 2-12, with Cratloe’s Podge Collins part of the management team
UL are captained by Mark Rodgers and the Scariff man landed 1-3 from play as they overcame University of Galway by 1-18 to 0-20, with Clarecastle’s Cian Galvin and Clonlara’s Colm O’Meara also on target.
They will face off in the final on Saturday afternoon in Abbeydorney Co Kerry at 2.45pm
