Clare’s minor football management team are expecting a closer encounter with their Tipperary counterparts this weekend than their meeting last year.
The Banner ran out comfortable winners in the provincial series in 2019, with the two sides, now much changed from that encounter, clashing on Saturday in a Munster quarter final.
The winners’ reward will see them paired with Limerick or Waterford in a Munster semi final next Wednesday – just four days later.
Selector and Clondegad clubman Dermot Gavin says they’re expecting a tight contest with the Premier county.
