Clare supporters get chance to see both county teams on one day.

Clare football and hurling fans will get a chnce thsi weekend to see both county sides in action on the same day following a decision to move Sunday’s  scheduled national hurling league Div 2 clash to Saturday at 12-45.

The county hurlers will take on Westmeath a day earler than originally planned due to the county’s U21 involved in the Lenister championship on Sunday.

The county footballers match with Limerick is unaffected and will still throw in at 2-30pm on Saturday.

Elsewhere and both of tomorrows U21 A hurling championship semi  finals have been fixed for 1pm.

Sixmilebridge take on Clarecastle in Newmarket at lunchtime while at the same time in Shannon Clonlara take on Eire Og.

Clonalara will be hoping to repeat their heroics of 2 years ago but face a tough challenge agains the Ennis based side.
