A Clare native is bidding for a spot in the final of the C1 Slalom canoe at the Olympics today
Ballyvaughan born Liam Jegou is competing at his second Olympic games, having debuted in Tokyo last time out.
Liam recovered from a slow first round to book his spot in the semi-final, taking nearly 9 seconds off his opening run to qualify.
