The man who captained Clare in their last National Hurling League outing feels the squad are eager to get back to winning ways ahead of the knockout stages.

The Banner make the trip to Waterford on Sunday for the rescheduled last round tie safe in the knowledge that a place in the quarter finals is already guaranteed.

St Josephs Miltown clubman Conor Cleary led the team out for their game against Wexford a fortnight ago with the Banner suffering their first loss of this years campaign.

Cleary is hopeful they can bounce back from that loss

Throw in on Sunday is at 2pm with live online commentary and on air updates in association with Matt Waters Clare Fruit & Veg Market and Geraghty’s Spar Turnpike Ennis, formerly O’Dowd’s.
