Clubs To Choose Between McMahon And Hickey As Clare GAA Referees Administrator

An updated Master Fixture list and a vote to determine the new referees administrator are the key items set to be discussed by delegates at this evening’s March meeting of Clare GAA.

Two former intercounty referees are going head to head to take up the administrators role, with Newmarket’s Seanie McMahon allowing his name forward in the days after Eire Óg’s Rory Hickey had announced his candidacy at the February gathering.

A new plan for the 2022 club calendar is also set to be adopted following a change to the format of the senior hurling championship, with action now set to get underway a week earlier than planned.

The meeting gets underway at Treacy’s West County Hotel from 6.30pm
