Clare’s Eimear Considine has been called up to the Ireland squad ahead of Irish Rugby’s 150th Anniversary Test match against Australia in Belfast.

The Kilmihil woman won the last of her 26 caps in April 2022 and has already linked up with Scott Bemand’s squad in place of the injured Méabh Deely.

Her return to the international game also comes just 10 months after she suffered a cruciate injury.
