Mark Fitzgerald will name his team later for their clash with Limerick, with Dermot Coughlan expected to return to the starting line up having recovered from a groin injury.
Clare posted their highest tally of the campaign to date with a 13 point win over Wicklow last weekend, while Limerick suffered their third consecutive defeat when losing out to Westmeath.
