Cratloe’s journey for Sunday’s Munster SFC club has been reduced following a switch of venue.
The Clare champions were due to travel to Castlehaven to face the Cork outfit on Sunday afternoon, which would have been a near six hour round trip, but they will now play the tie in Pairc ui Chaoimh.
The decision to move the game was taken after pitch inspection at the venue this afternoon.
Munster GAA issued a statement which says: “Following a pitch inspection of Castlehaven this morning, and with a poor forecast for West Cork on Saturday evening and Sunday morning, it has been decided to move Sunday’s Munster AIB Munster GAA Club Senior Football Championship Quarter-Final Quarter-Final game between Castlehaven (Cork) and Cratloe (Clare) to Pairc Ui Chaoimh at 1:30pm”.
The game will be broadcast live on Clare FM in association with Flan O’Neill Building Supplies and Tool Hire, Smithstown & Shannon.
