Cratloe have qualified for a first ever Munster Club Hurling Final after beating Thurles Sarsfields this afternoon.

The game was full of talking points, and one of those came after just 12 seconds when Denis Maher was shown a straight red card for a wild challenge on Liam Markham.

After 10 minutes, Thurles led by 0-3 to 0-2, but from here on in, it was all Cratloe.

5 unanswered points saw them take a 0-7 to 0-3 lead, and Podge Collins goal on the stroke of half time saw them go in at the break ahead by 1-8 to 0-4.

Cratloe got the opening two scores of the second half and from here never looked like being reeled in.

Thurles got to within 5 points with 10 minutes to go, but led by Conor McGrath, Cratloe closed out the game in impressive fashion and won by 1-18 to 0-14

Conor McGrath was imperious throughout, and finished the game with 0-11 to his name, while Conor Ryan dominated at center back.

They now contest the Munster Club Final on Sunday November 23rd, where they will face Ger Sparrow O'Loughlin and his Kilmallock side after they beat Sarsfields after extra time by 3-22 to 3-20
