Clare has a new European champion.
Ennis Track athlete Niall Murphy is bringing home a gold medal as part of the Irish U20 team who clinched team honours at the Euro Cross Country championships in Brussels.
Murphy was the second Irish athlete home finishing in 9th place overall, with team-mate Nick Griggs securing an individual bronze medal.
