Exciting Ties In Store As Draws Made For TUS Clare Football Semi-Finals

Two of the most recent county final pairings will do battle again for a place in this year’s decider of the TUS Clare Senior Football Championship.

Defending champions Cratloe have been drawn against Kilmurry Ibrickane, in a repeat of the 2020 showpiece, which was the last time the Bricks claimed Jack Daly.

Eire Óg and Ennistymon will face off in the other semi-final tie, which was the scene of the townie’s last county final victory in 2022.

Eire Óg Boss Paul Madden says they will have to continue their scoring form to get over the line.

Elsewhere, in the TUS Intermediate Football Championship, the last four ties will see Naomh Eoin face Clondegad and Wolfe Tones take on Kilrush Shamrocks.

In the Martin Murphy Building and Civil Contractors LTD Junior A Championship, meanwhile, Clarecastle will face Kilfenora for a coveted final spot, while the opposite fixture will see Eire Óg’s second string pitted against Michael Cusack’s.

In the Martin Murphy Building and Civil Contractors LTD Junior B Championship, Wolfe Tones (2) will play St.Joseph’s Miltown and Eire Óg (3) will take on Moy.

All Senior, Intermediate, Junior A and Junior B semi-finals will be played on the weekend of the 12th and 13th of October.
