The St Flannans hurling manager says he’ll be keeping an eye on the club scene ahead of the Harty Cup getting underway later this year.

Last year’s champions have been drawn against Cashel in their opening round tie, with games set to be played in December.

Their county neighbours Tulla have been given a bye in the new-look 15 team tournament, which will be played on a straight knockout basis instead of the usual group format.

Kevin O Grady says both Flannans and Cashel will be well up for it when the action eventually gets underway.
