A former Clare intercounty star feels club players will have a renewed focus this week as the start of the 2024 TUS championships get underway.

Friday evening will see three games in the race for Jack Daly, with champions Cratloe beginning the defence of their title in Clarecastle against Miltown.

Eire Óg and Kilmurry Ibrickane clash in Cooraclare, while Corofin hosts the meeting of St Joseph’s Doora Barefield and St Breckan’s.

David Tubridy will spearhead the Doonbeg attack on Saturday evening when they face Ennistymon, and he says players will be looking forward to getting their campaigns underway after the intercounty season.
