A former All Ireland U21 winning selector with Clare says players have been rewarded for their commitment to the cause by capturing Liam McCarthy.
More club visits are planned this week as the famed trophy continues to be paraded around the county, with club summer camps all looking forward to seeing both the cup and their heroes.
Jimmy Browne was involved in the Banner’s U21 and senior sides with Donal Moloney and Gerry O’Connor, and worked with a number of the players who helped beat Cork in Croke Park.
