A former Clare minor football manager feels the squad will come into tonight’s playoff in a confident mood.
They take on a Tipperary side who suffered a heavy defeat to Cork in Round One, while the Banner bounced back from defeat to Kerry with a comprehensive win over Waterford a week ago.
The sides have already met at under 17 level this year, with Tipperary emerging victorious in that game.
8 of that side for the Premier will be involved again tonight, but Cooraclare’s Joe Garry says having a young squad won’t be a disadvantage for the visitors.
Throw in this evening at Cusack Park is at 6.30pm, live online commentary on www.clare.fm and updates on the West Wind from 7pm
