Golf suspended at St Andrew’s

Play has been suspended at the Open Championship at St Andrews because of strong winds around the Old Course.

The players’ balls are moving on the greens, forcing organisers to call a halt.

Rory McIlroy was still in the early stages of his second round when he was called back, but there’s a new leader after South Africa’s Louis Oosthuizen (Ust-hazen) picked-up five shots today to charge into a three-shot lead on 12 under.
