Lissycasey manager Aidan “Horse” Moloney admits there was a lot to like about the manner in which his side got off to a winning start in this years TUS Clare senior football championship.
A brace of goals from county star Shane Griffin helped them overcome neighbours Kilmihil, with the result now putting them in a strong position to qualify for the knockout stages.
Up next will be a showdown with Moloney’s home club of Kilmurry Ibrickane in two weeks time, where victory would guarantee their passage to a quarter-final.
