One of Clare’s key men says they were always confident of turning the game around against Kilkenny in the All Ireland hurling semi-final.

The Banner went to the dressing rooms at the break with a five point deficit, but outscored the Cats 0-16 to 1-6 after the break to seal the win.

Eight scorers contributed to Clare’s 0-24 tally, with Aidan McCarthy accounting for 0-11 of the scoring.
