Clare boss Brian Lohan is praising the manner in which his side dug deep to pick up their second win of the Munster hurling championship.
A late 65 metre free from Mark Rodgers eventually settled a dramatic contest against Waterford with the Banner claiming a 4-21 to 2-26 victory.

Clare now go to Semple Stadium on Sunday next to face a Tipperary team who are already eliminated from the championship, with the Banner only needing to avoid defeat to seal a Munster final spot.
