The first of this years Clare Senior Hurling Championship playoff rounds is down for decision this evening.

There's a local derby in store as Kilmaley take on neighbours Inagh/Kilnamona, where the winners will progress to the last eight, while the losers see their 2015 Championship come to an end.

These sides had contrasting fortunes in round two, with Kilmaley losing out to Ballyea while the Combo avoiding the relegation tussle by beating Clarecastle.

Kilmaley are the reigning Minor and U21 A champions, and speaking on last nights Sideline View, Eoin Brennan of the Clare People says they now need to transfer that to the senior stage

Throw in this evening in Cusack Park is at 6.15pm, live updates here on Clare FM
