Round two of the county senior hurling championship saw no major shocks with all the championship favourites gaining wins.
On Friday, Sixmilebridge overcame Wolfe Tones by 3-16 to 0-10 while Saturday saw Kilmaley and Newamrket play out a 1-8 draw in Cusack park and yesterdasy there were wins for Crusheen ,Cratloe,St Josephs and Clonlara.

The 2008 champions edged a tough encounter against Broadford by 2-13 to 0-14.
