One of Clare’s young stars has been ruled out of this Sunday’s All ireland Minor Hurling Final clash with Kilkenny.
Clonlara’s Cathal O’Connell will not be in action at Croke Park on Saturday – he underwent an operation on his appendix last weekend, and has not been able to recover on time.
It’s believed that the Clare camp are otherwise 100% fit for the game, and the side’s management will announce the starting fifteen for the match tomorrow night.
