Newmarket Celtic have bridged a 31 year gap to qualify for the Munster Junior Cup Final.

The Clare champions beat Janesboro 2-1, coming from behind thanks to goals from Eoin Hayes and Eoin O'Brien.

Prior to their most recent meeting, Newmarket had been beaten by Janesboro in both the FAI Junior Cup Quarter Final and Munster League Champions Final.

Manager Mike O'Malley says they determined to atone for those losses

They'll now meet St Michaels of Tipperary in the final, with that game set for the weekend of May 14th at the County Grounds in Doora.
