There was penalty shootout heartbreak for Avenue United in the FAI Junior Cup.
The Cherries lost out to Galway outfit, Colga FC at the last 16 stage of the tournamnet in Clarinbridge this afternoon.

Elias Kuniz put the Ennis men in front after 60 minutes, however Colga would immediately regroup to equalize during the next passage of play.
The tie finished 1-1 at the end of regulation time, however Colga FC would prevail by three goals to nil on penalties.
Newmarket Celtic now remain the only Clare side in the competition.
