Plenty Clare Interest In Fitzgibbon Cup Semi Final As UL Clash With IT Carlow

The line up for this year’s Fitzgibbon Cup final will be completed later.

UL will have plenty Clare representation when they face off against IT Carlow, with Scariff duo Mark Rodgers and Daniel Treacy joined by Clarecastle’s Cian Galvin, Michael Gough of Smith O’Briens and Crusheen’s Ross Hayes on the panel.

Rodgers was among the goalscorers as the Limerick college saw off MTU Cork in the previous round, while DJ Carey’s outfit eliminated defending champions UCC to reach the last four.
