It’s emerged that Clare wing back Declan Callinan has NOT suffered a broken leg.
It had been feared that the Kilmurry Ibrickane man would face a long spell on the sidelines after he was stretchered off during Clare’s win over Longford last Sunday.
However following scans, it’s emerged that he has not suffered a fracture.
The news is a boost for manager Micháel McDermott ahead of Saturday’s match against Limerick, where a draw would be enough to secure promortion to Division 3.
