Clare’s Mark Rodgers has been nominated for the GAA/GPA Hurler of the Month Award for June.
The Scariff clubman hit 2-13 in Clare’s two games this month, including 1-11 in the Banner’s All Ireland quarter-final win over Dublin.

Limerick’s Aaron Gillane and Galway’s Conor Whelan make up the three man shortlist.
John Conlon won the award for April with Diarmuid Ryan being the winner in May
